Completion of “Nagareru,” a New Gathering Space
We are pleased to announce the opening of Nagareru, a new gathering space located in Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyo. The renovation of the building was designed by Architects Atelier Ryo Abe Inc.
Below is a message from the organization behind this initiative:
Nagareru is an experimental gathering space created by Yuzuriha, a social welfare corporation that has long supported individuals facing challenges such as abuse and poverty. It was born from an intention to create a space that goes beyond the conventional frameworks of welfare.
This is a place where people are free from the linear relationship of “caregiver and receiver,” and where diverse individuals can come and go, meet, and connect. Through these encounters, feelings of anxiety, anger, and fear may quietly begin to loosen.
It is a place where no one is asked to carry another’s pain alone, and where each person can discover their own sense of comfort and safety. We hope to shape this place, surrounded by the “joys” and “delights” of many different people.
新しい集いの場「ながれる」竣工のお知らせ
この度、東京の門前仲町に、新たな集いの場として「ながれる」がオープンいたしました。安部良アトリエ（Architects Atelier Ryo Abe inc.）で建物の改修工事の設計を担当しました。
運営者による、この場所への想いを下記に引用します。
「ながれる」は、虐待や貧困など、さまざまな困難に直面する人々をサポートしてきた「社会福祉法人子供の家ゆずりは」が、これまでの福祉の枠組みにとらわれない場所を作りたいという想いから新たに生まれた、実験的な集いの場。
「ケアする・される」の直線的な関係性から自由になり、さまざまな人たちが行き交う開かれた場所と出会いのなかで、不安や怒りや恐れが少しずつゆるんでいく。
誰かの苦しみや痛みを 別の誰かが抱え込まず、自分の安心や心地よさを自分自身で見つけていく。そんな場所をさまざまな人たちの「好き」や「楽しい」に包まれながら実現したい。
